Professional tour
My professional journey began in 2011 after graduating with honors from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
With the degree fresh out of the oven, I completed an annual internship with psychosomatic orientation at the Durand Hospital. From this experience I mainly highlight the interdisciplinary work and the great diversity of patients that I have had the opportunity to see.
Later I began clinical care of patients, and teaching activity in the subjects Theory and Cognitive Therapy of Stress, and Psychophysiological Techniques for Stress Management at the University of Buenos Aires.
During this period I began to amalgamate knowledge linked to psychoanalysis with that of cognitive psychotherapy and behavioral sciences.
After diverse and nutritious experiences in areas such as the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with dual pathologies, expert and psychodiagnostic activity, and work with institutionalized patients, in 2015 I began to work at the Anxiety and Trauma Clinic of the Institute of Neurology Cognitiva (INECO), having the privilege of surrounding myself with professionals of notable experience and trajectory, and nourishing myself with the interdisciplinary and intellectually challenging spirit of said institution.
Since then to date my area of clinical specialty focuses on anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, life crises, personality disorders, tics, and repetitive behaviors focused on the body such as trichotillomania, onychotillomania, excoriation disorder, etc.
Over the years I have been fortunate to receive national and international training, and to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, locally and internationally. Likewise, I regularly provide workshops on relaxation, mindfulness, stress management, interpersonal skills, and personal development.
Currently, in addition to being a therapist at the Anxiety and Trauma Clinic (CEAN), I am committed to the dissemination of evidence-based psychotherapy, with the aim of making those treatments that have clinical support known and accessible. and empirical, and that can make a difference in the quality of life of a large number of people.
